Mini Meophams Nursery

Mini Meophams, nestled in the picturesque village of Meopham, is a proud part of Meopham Community Academy and The Golden Thread Alliance. Conveniently located within easy walking distance of major transport links, including bus services and Meopham train station, Mini Meophams is perfectly positioned for accessibility.

 

Our program provides an inclusive learning environment and high-quality care for children aged 2 to 5 years*. As the starting point of Meopham Community Academy's commitment to being at the heart of the community, Mini Meophams plays a crucial role in early childhood education.

 

We take pride in preparing our children for a smooth transition to primary school through a bespoke curriculum that emphasizes skill and knowledge development. The activities and experiences offered at Mini Meophams are designed to foster independence, confidence, and effective communication, ensuring that every child embarks on their educational journey as a capable and self-assured learner.

Pattern of Delivery 

Mini Meophams is a sessional, term time only (open for 38 weeks a year) early years provision. As a result of feedback from the wider community, we are pleased to be able to offer 15 hour and 30 hour funded places from September 2023. The offer of our delivery from September 2023 is as follows:

 

Option 1 – 15 hours funded:

Monday 8.30-3.30*

Tuesday 8.30-3.30*

Wednesday morning (8.30-11.30)

 

Option 2 – 15 hours funded:

Wednesday afternoon (12.30-3.30)

Thursday 8.30-3.30*

Friday 8.30-3.30*

 

Option 3 – 30 hours funded:

Monday to Friday 8.30 – 3.30*

 

Option 4 – 30 hours (15 hours funded, 15 additional childcare hours charged at £112.50 per week):

Monday to Friday 8.30 – 3.30*

 

*please note, lunch is an additional funded hour from 11.30-12.30 priced at £7.50 (this is a reduced cost taking effect from September 2023). If you do not wish to pay the additional cost for your child to stay for lunch then you can collect your child at 11.30 and return them to nursery at 12.30.

Tracksuit bottoms, a sweatshirt and a spare pair of socks and underwear in a named bag for Forest School day.

 

**Please note: At this time, we do not have a uniform provider for the Mini Meophams uniform. School jumpers and cardigans can be purchased from the main school uniform provider or school website, however these start at age 3. If you would prefer to purchase plain jumpers/cardigans/polo shirts, iron on school badges can be purchased for £2.00, via the Arbor parent app.
