Homework

Homework tasks vary from year group to year group. For more details on your child’s year group homework expectations, please visit their year group home pages and check out the ‘Meet The Teacher – Essential Information’ Powerpoint presentations on the Year group pages.

Computing

Scratch is a programming language and an online community where children can program and share interactive media such as stories, games, and animation with people from all over the world. As children create with Scratch, they learn to think creatively, work collaboratively, and reason systematically.

Scratch is available as a free download so that you can enjoy creating and exploring coding with your children at home. Scratch offline editor lets you create projects without joining or accessing the online Scratch community. All the information you need can be found here on the Scratch website.

You can also try some Minecraft and Star Wars coding via the website Code.org (see link below). There are a wide-range of coding activities to create and explore here with your child.
