School Opening Times

School Office

Our school office is open from 8:00am until 4:00pm.

Meopham Wrap

Breakfast club opens at 7:30am and runs until 8:35am. 

After school club runs from 3:10pm until 5:30pm. 

Nursery

8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.      Monday - Friday 

12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.      Monday - Friday

8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.        Monday - Friday (30 hour offer)

Start of the school day

In order to aid parents when dropping children off, our school gate is now open for 15 minutes from 8:35am until 8:50am. We also hope that our parents and local residents have seen a difference in ease of parking and congestion in the surrounding environs of the school. Registration is at 8:50am and children are considered late after this time.

Morning Session 

Post-registration, our morning session begins at 8:50am ending at lunchtime. The morning session includes guided reading, English and mathematics.

Mid-Morning Break

There is a mid-morning break of 15 minutes for all of the children (10:15 am KS1 and 10:45 am KS2).

Afternoon Session

Our afternoon session begins at 1:00pm with PM registration and ends at 3:10pm.

End of the School Day

The school gates are opened at 3:05pm with collection between 3:10pm and 3:25pm. The official end of the school day is 3:10pm.

The total number of hours the school is open is 6 hours and 35 minutes per day (8:35am- 3:10pm) which totals 32.91 hours per week.

If a different adult is collecting your child at the end of the day, please either let the school office know or email the teacher via the class email address. If several adults collect your child on a regular basis throughout the year, please let the teacher know that this is a trusted adult who you are happy to allow to collect at anytime. 

SAFETY NOTICE: For safety reasons, do not use the vehicle/car park entrance to enter or exit the school site on-foot under ANY circumstances at ANY time. Our pedestrian entrances are located on Longfield Road and Wrotham Road.

STRICTLY NO DOGS (EXCEPT GUIDE DOGS OR ASSISTANCE DOGS) ALLOWED ON THE SCHOOL SITE. THIS INCLUDES DOGS THAT ARE CARRIED.
